One of the biggest things we see local businesses struggle with when it comes to effectively using Facebook ads to grow, is not having a clear offer.
Again, before running any ads, you’ve got to have a strategy that will take your target audience from becoming aware of your business all the way through to becoming a paying customer (and hopefully a repeat one).
As a local business you have to give your audience incentive to stop in, book an appointment, pick up the phone and call you, etc. It’s not enough to just run ads that promote your website or Facebook Page.
The best way you can move your audience to take action when they see your ad is by giving limited time offers.
For example, let's say we had a kids party place.
We would create a targeted 60 second ad giving people an inside look at the fun kids are having there.
The video would be fun, colorful, and entertaining, and at the end of the video, I would offer a special discount
Once people click on the ad, they’re taken to a landing page where they have to enter their email address in order to access the discount offer. This means that in addition to generating business your also growing your email list.
This is a strategy any local business can do.
Get creative with your offer while always keeping your business goals in mind and experiment to figure out what works
